WHITE BALANCE
What is white balance ?
White balance balances the color temperature in the image. It adds the opposite color to the image in an attempt to bring the color temperature back to neutral. For example, instead of whites appearing blue or orange, they should appear white after correctly white balancing an image.
TUNGSTEN
This mode is tends to be the best option for photographing indoors, especially under warm tungsten lighting. It is often symbolized by a little bulb. It is used to cool down the color temperature in image. I use candle for the subject.

FLUORESCENT
This mode is typically used when photographing in cool, fluorescent light and adds a slightly warm color to it. For this mode, I use dried baby breath as a subject and also white light as the main light.

DIRECT SUNLIGHT
This mode is used for photographing outdoors in normal daylight. However, it is not available in all cameras. It is also a quite neutral setting. I use my mom's bird eye chili plant as the main subject. This picture was taken during afternoon.

CLOUDY
The cloudy setting adds a slightly warmer cast than the direct sunlight setting and is used to add a little "kick" at the image. It is the favourite amongst many landscape photographers.

SHADE
The final setting is shade. It introduces even more warmth than the previous settings. It's commonly used in shaded environments as they tend to be a little colder. These photos was taken around my neighbourhood.
